LDR Construction Consultants advises on construction contracts and the resolution of construction disputes, from procurement and contract drafting through to adjudication and arbitration. We have particular experience of the FIDIC, NEC and ICC forms of contract.
Adjudication
We advise parties on adjudication and prepare and present referrals. Alan Del Rio is a FIDIC accredited Adjudicator and has been called to the FIDIC President’s List of Approved Dispute Adjudicators. Donal Larkin has acted as party representative in over 100 adjudications.
Dispute boards
Our partners prepare referrals to dispute boards and represent parties before them under FIDIC contracts, on projects including in Botswana, Iceland, Laos, Lesotho, Nepal and the United Arab Emirates.
Arbitration
We advise parties on arbitration, including ICC and ICSID arbitrations, preparing submissions and acting as party representatives. Donal Larkin is a qualified arbitrator and has acted as arbitrator on disputes in Ireland.
Mediation and conciliation
Donal Larkin is a qualified mediator and conciliator and has acted in the resolution of numerous disputes in these capacities.
Claims preparation
We draft and prepare claims under construction contracts.
